I'm wondering when things will change in France. Marriage, adoption and medically assisted reproduction are all prohibited by law, which I find amazing in an otherwise sexually open-minded country. This year though, July I believe, they recognised overseas marriages for same-sex couples, so it's a step in the right direction. A very little one.
I am constantly amazed at how narrow-minded so many countries are. I think that is why we need to be sure to celebrate the small victories. Each one is as you say a step in the right direction.
For those who don't know me, I am 29, English and living in Portland Oregon. I moved here back in January 2005, and love it here.
That is all I am saying, for more about me, read my blog (s) :)
