I love butterflies, I saw many on my trip back home, but my mums dog scared most of them away before I was able to get a shot. I finally manged to get one.

That's a beauty. I don't know how to photograph butterflies successfully. I've managed once or twice purely by accident, but I can tell you from experience that trying to follow them until they settle, doesn't work and rarely looks dignified :) They're quite fast once they get going, especially little blue ones!
I love those little blue ones, saw the photo on your blog too.
The next tattoo that I get will be either a butterfly or a dragonfly.
oh, it also took me about 10 shots to get one good one. each photo i got a little closer and zoomed in a little more... then of course along came meg the dog and scared it away :)
