Bullying...

A while back I saw a tweet from Claire requesting that people share their bullying stories at www.bullying.co.uk.
I was bullyied for most of my high school life, so I hoped over there and checked it out, and of course posted my story.  I recieved an email this morning:

Thank you so much for your views on bullying, it has already had impact the BBC One Show has been in touch they are doing an item on the long term effects of bullying and they were very interested in speaking to you.

Of course been as I am now living in the US, this won't be happening, but I was pleased to see that just a short story of something that happened over 10 years ago, at least received some interest.

Oh poor neglected blog, I have been so busy and had no time to even think of something to write, never mind actually spending the time to put the words down.

Yesterday Morning

One of the best things about my new home is the view. The picture taken above was taken from my balcony. I have this view from my dinning room, living room and bedroom. I feel very lucky.

You have no ideas how many photos of Mt Hood I have been taking lately.

With the good weather we've been having lately, there have been some fantastic views, sunsets and sunrises.

New Blog Layout

I finally got around to changing my blog layout.  It's been bugging me for a while, so I picked out a shiny new one today.

No doubt I'll be playing around with it over the next few days.  Then I'll get back to writing to my lovely blog.

(Belated) Happy New Year

5 days into 2009 and I am finally able to get around to wishing you all a Happy New Year!

I had a wonderful Christmas in New Zealand with my parents, brother and cousins.  It was wonderful and beautiful.

 

I am now living in a new apartment with fantastic views of Mount Hood, I still have a little unpacking to do, only 2 boxes, and I hope to have them done soon.  I was supposed to be back at work today after my vacation but a tummy bug that I picked up from somewhere has me at home.  I am feeling better than I was yesterday, so hope to be back there tomorrow.  I feel like I've been off work for ages, it will be odd to be back, especially been as I started my new role right before I left for vacation.

With being sick, all I have really done the past couple of days is watch Heroes, I am still on season 1, but am little addicted already.
